so i saw my male mate with the female about a week ago it looks like an egg has started to form but i wasnt sure so i put her back in the males tank to see if she would be receptive and she was i saw them do it right away and after the male licked himself u know here so he must have done it. so assume she must be pregnant now so should i leave her in the male's tank or put her back into her own??

I myself would put her back in her own to make sure that he doesn't try to oversex her. If you had multiple females, leaving them with the male would be okay because there would be less of a chance for oversexing..

Also, any time that multiple leos are housed together, they need to be monitored very carefully to make sure they get along well and that there is no bullying.

Congrats on the breeding :main_thumbsup:

This is how I do it, I put the male in the females tub just long enough to finish his work and clean him self, when hes done I take him out. I wait about 2 weeks for eggs from the female, than I stick them in the incubator :)
