Breeding question

This question has bugged me for awhile but i never got around to posting it. When cresties lay clutches do they mate once per clutch? or do they mate once and then lay x number of clutches?

They can lay 1 or 10+ clutches with one mating but usually somewhere in between.

 

[Chicagocrestedgeckos]

They mate and then she lays eggs when she is ready, normally a month afterwards. We have had a female lay 2 months after. Normally they lay around 6 clutches.
