Before I get a male and start breeding Leos, I had a question.

I currently have a 30 gallon tank with 4 females in it. Would it be ok to keep a male with them? Or would I have to take the male out after a period of time?

You could, i keep my male with my 2 females at all times, it depends on the male really. If the male is hopped up on breeding its a bad idea.

Thank you, another question, if the male is calm and not hopped up on breeding, like your male with the 2 females sounds, are your geckos still mating?

I keep my males and females together from about Jan. to October. The male I have who's most interested in breeding is active with the females until about July or August and then tapers off. The last eggs are usually laid in August.

It should work out fine. I always keep my male and 3 females together, and they seem to get along well. My advice would be to keep a close eye on them once you introduce the male. Make sure there aren't any signs of aggression (serious nipping, competition for food, etc.). Also make sure each gecko has a good amount of space and its own hide. Good Luck! :main_thumbsup:

Actually, for breeding, i seperated the elegible breeder and the male gecko for 2-3 days, because the other female is too small and if i cooled the 30 he might try for her also. But with all yours being adult you could do them all in the 30
