So i was kind of thinking of using b. dubia as a feeder. I was wondering if it was worth breeding them, especially if you only have a couple critters that will eat them. Is there a way to slow down the breeding without stopping it, so im not overrun. I only have a couple of animals to feed.

Roaches don't breed that quickly unless you have a high number of adults. It takes quite a while to get nymphs. All you need is roaches, gel water, ground up dog food, and a container of some sort. It should be worth it because the cost of feeders will be higher than the cost to breed them. I'd say a dozen roaches would be good for a couple geckos.

Thankyou. I may try this. How many should i start with and where is a good place to get said starters?

I would go with 9 adult females and 3 adult males give or take a few. You want a 3 to 1 ratio of females to males. I don't know about who is best to get them from as I have acquired all mine from local people until recently. The recent person was someone who really helped me out and did a big favor for me as I had lost 95% of my colony due to moving and the heat. He just had extra and was trying to figure out how to ship them.
