I've been doing research, but can't really find what I'm looking for.
I've been trying to figure out proper weights for breeding sand and rosy boas. Most places say between 2-4 years females are the perfect size, well to me that's like saying between 1-2 years crested geckos are the right size. They all grow at different paces, so one 2 year boa may not be at proper weights, whereas another may... What's a good breeding weight for females? I know males can breed pretty early on, but females not so much.
I found a website a few weeks ago with breeding weights for some sand boas, but I can't seem to find that anymore. I'm interested in both species weights.
I asked the breeder I purchased my rosies from, but I can't remember now what he said. I know they're not big enough to breed yet, but I'm preparing and doing all research in preparation, as I've never bred snakes. I want to make sure all goes well.
