Hey all. Im about to recieve 3 snow raptor females this week. The males I will use are: Giant albino, Snow, SSPhet tremper. With the albino to the SR would I get aptors het raptor with some being snow or just albinos and snow albinos het raptor? With the ssp het tremper would i get all snows (some super) het patternless and some albinos? Im getting a decent deal on these girls and was just wondering if you all had an idea of what to expect. And ideas or breeding suggestions would be greatly appreciated. They will not breed till next yr.

Snow RAPTOR x Giant Albino = 25% Snow Giant Albino, 25% Snow Albino, 25% Giant Albino, 25% Albino

Snow RAPTOR x SS het Tremper = 50% SS(possible albino), 50% Snow(possible albino).

All babies would be het for Eclipse

If a gecko is a raptor,it is double homozygous eclipse and tremper albino(which is essentially the same thing).Since only 1 parent posses a homozygous eclipse gene, all off spring will be heterozygous(het) for eclipse.

Eclipse is a simple recessive gene. Just like tremper, bell, rainwater, murphy's patternless, blizzard, etc.

A RAPTOR is made up of two simple recessive genes: tremper albino and eclipse. It also has the polygenic genes for patternless stripe.

So RAPTOR contains the two genes of eclipse and tremper. So if you breed a raptor to a tremper youll get Trempers, het for eclipse.

But some people just say het for raptor instead, but they are technically het for eclipse.
The leopardgeckowiki should be able to help you learn about all the morphs and genetics before you breed your geckos.
