I've talked to a couple breeders, locally, and no one can really help me out. I Had asked a fella when the following species are reasy to breed:
-Pictus gecko (8.8Grams, 3-4inches age unknown)
-fat tail gecko (42Grams 7-9inch 6-12 months)
-tokay gecko (51Grams 9-11Inch 8-14 months)
-Malyasian golden gecko (32.7 Grams 8-10Inch 2 years)
-crested gecko not (not weighed yet/not measured/2 years +)

he told me that after 14 years of breeding he just knows when their ready.

So Again i will ask when and what weight will my geckos be "leet" to breed =]?

Pictus geckos I try to wait until they are approximately 1 year. Some females will start laying eggs even without being bred. I've had this happen several times. Fatties are also about a year. They tend to be a little smaller than leos, so the 40-50g mark is a little off. Several only get up to 35 or so. Again, some of them may start ovulating before a year. Those are the only 2 I feel comfortable answering.

i've heard lots of experience's where a female pictus is able to hold the male's sperm for up to 6 months(maybe more) maybe this was your case.

But i purchased my little guy from a local breeder, he said he's proven. I was just curious as to if 8.8Grams is average/under/over weight for him.

Thxx for the reply, this was my second post. First had no responces.
