I just noticed that my Leopard Gecko has broken a nail, it's still hanging on there, but it's broken off basically, there's a tiny tiny bit of dried blood, will the nail fall off on it's own? will the nail grow back? can anyone answer these questions??, I want to make sure my little buddy's alright. thank you!

forgive the messy drawing, but this is basically what it looks like..

Sometimes if shed gets stuck and left around the toe tip it will cut off circulation and the toe will fall off in the next shed. Probably that is what is happening here. It's nothing to worry about and he will be fine. Just be sure to check his toes and tail after each future shed and help him remove anything still stuck to prevent it from happening again

she is still walking around with the toe nail flipped backwards, I don't believe it was a shed issue, she's never had those problems before, it looks like her toe nail, cracked off and is hanging on to the finger still, just backwards (see image above) will her nail grow back? since the finger was not injured?

Oh, it's a female? Sorry about that. I hesitate to believe that she just cracked the nail, and here's why: these animals are designed to be digging on thick, hard clay/sand/rocky surfaces. It's not as easy for them to break a nail as it is for us. But if somehow she did just break the nail, I don't see why it wouldn't grow back. Nails DO grow, no matter the animal.
