Another newbie question my eggs are getting darker there like chicken brownish color they still ok? Put in a bit more water because they are dented but i didn't put much in because hatchrite says no need to add water. Any other advice would be great

You can poke a pen sized hole in tin foil and place that over a flashlight. Place the egg over the hole with the flashlight on and look for the red bullseye. I do this to check for fertilization. Sometimes the bullseye doesn't show up right away but its worth a shot. Don't consider throwing them out till you are sure they are bad ie mold...etc. I'm only saying this because sometimes when they go bad they get brown and soft like a hot water bottle.

My first clutch this year turned brown, too..but they were obviously infertile as they'd also dented, gone soft, and started to smell...if they retained their shape and firmness, idk what to tell you..
