So, I switched out the hide that my Leo had because it was one of those water dish/stair mashups and the water dish was deep and small vs. large and shallow (so she can bathe if she wants too). When I did so she took to hiding in the wet hide instead of the warm and started to sleep alot. Her wet hide is no longer wet since she really dislikes being sprayed (I tested her once) and is in the 70s. I wake up pretty early in the AM for work, but even then it showed low 70s.

Her hide is see-thru since its just a plastic tub, and she will occasionally rise up on all 4 legs like she is hot, but stay asleep. She is on eco-earth but the hide is still in the low 70s. Dreaming? She will on occasion open her eyes, but I've seen it maybe 4 times in the last week. She went about 5 days without eating, but did eat the night before last, though no poop as of yet.

Just brumating or do you think it could be something else? I am leaving her alone. She was a big eater prior to this so she has plenty of fat on her tail. She is still young, but mid-sized. She was bought by a breeder who changed his mind so I don't know her hatch date.

I'm kinda confused on your post.Whats in the 70's the temp in the cool hide? why are u spraying your leo? they dont need to be misted. They need 2 hides a warm hide at 95 deg and a moist cool hide at room temperature at 70-75

I assume that by misting you mean your misting inside your humid hide. I just set up my tank with the temp gradient and let the leos do as they please. At this point, some of the leos are hanging out in the warm hides (some eating and some not eating), a few are hanging out in the cool side hides and not eating and some are climbing around the cage. It's their choice, and it's worked for the last 5 years.

I only sprayed in there because it was suppose to be her moist hide, but its dry. Of course since she's sleeping all of the time, and not growing, I assume she won't start shedding? It was just one little test to see if she would be cool with it or not. She was not so I haven't sprayed her again. I don't mist my Leos, just the inside of their moist hides.
