Right this is kinda urgent, I've just noticed it I don't know how I couldn't have before.
My Blazing blizzard smiler has allways had a deformed lower jaw, It gives him more of a grin it protrudes out at both sides by his eyes, I have just taken him out of his tub for cleaning and feeding and I noticed there was something that looked like mealworm skin on both sides, I didn't think any more out of it so I tried to scrape it away with a cotten bud.

I Then realised after the second one that It had a bit of blood on the cotten bud! I think I pulled some of his teeth out they must have been rotten by the sight of what looked like mealie skins, Other parts of his mouth aren't infected by the looks of it, just the two bits that jutt out...

Am I right in thinking mouthrot? If so is there anything I can get from around the house that I might be able to use to help him, The teeth are out now I have dabbed the "gums" with a wet cotten bud to check to see if there was any more blood, there doesn't seem to be.

The earliest I can get to a vet is Saturday morning is there anything I can use before here to help him?

God Ironic as soon as something goes wrong with one of my geckos I fall over myself wondering what to do! :main_angry::(

Yeah I've just gone through the enclosure, all he has now is his hide, water and a food bowl, on paper towels, Not going to risk any other decorations, They have all just been disinfected before putting back.
I haven't seen him eat in a while either, Leave mealies in a dish for him they go, so Im assuming he has been eating on it, but there I have no clue?, Do leos teeth grow back? I've never researched that specific fact on them...

i have no clue as to whether they grow back or not. i know that in snakes, if they lose one another will replace it but as for lizards i have no idea.
