My American Dad built me an advertising sign for my birthday:
I like it! It's very light-weight and can be completely disassembled for transportation in the car. He put it together from parts found at Lowe's, Rural King, etc. Usually, I order stands from www.buildasign.com, but my Dad insisted he could do it under USD100, and he managed. The vinyl photo was made by buildasign.com (and was about 56 bucks including shipping). It's huge, 8x4 feet. (The gecko is Lindy, my favorite Tremper.)
I'll take that sign to the Scott Smith's All Animal Expo in Wheaton on July 10th and hope it will not crash down on us
I wonder how other people get their show signs??? Home-made? Website order? Local copy shop? Any recommendations?
(The only issue I had were the 4 American flags, because I'm German :main_laugh: I think I'm about to get a few German flags now, too...)
