bump under the arm pit HELP !!!!

hey ive notice a bump under each of my leos armpits they arent hard but squisy what do you think they are ? oh and ive noticed it on another leo is it spreading ?

That is what is referred to as calcium "moobs". It is excess calcium storage and is nothing to worry about. You may want to cut back on how ofter you are dusting and they will go down, but I have never read any ill effects from "moobs".

I agree with Jason, some people like them on their leos, some don't, but if you want them to go away as jason said cut back on the calc a bit and they should go down.

There are no ill effect from the actual lumps but it is a sign that you are over vitaminizing your gecko and that can cause many ill effects...

Water soluable vitamins and minerals should not be getting stored to the point they are causing protruding deposites...

Not only will you need to cut back on your calcium but you will need to stop offering D3 for a while...

Those bumps are not a sign of good health... They are a sign of too much vitamin and calcium intake...

ive been told that i shouldnt try to make it go down

If I was going to take someones advise it would be Gregs. I never meant that having calcium pockets were ideal. I would cut back as I have with one of my geckos that started to develop them.

ok cheers iam not going to supplement they food for a week and see how things are with the bumps should i keep the calci dish in tho and also i never dust the mealworms as they only eat like 2 they dont really like them cheers
