Burnt gecko?

My friend wanted me to post this topic as he doesn't have an account.(I keep asking him to get one) Well, Shi Wei put Raptor in a box which he placed onto a chair under the sun. After enjoying a bowl of rice and coming back after ten minutes, Shi Wei saw that Raptor was jumping and strugling to get out. He then took Raptor out. His cousin touched the inside of the box and burnt his hand.

After that, Shi Wei noticed Raptor's feet had turned purple and that Raptor could not move it's legs. He then put Raptor onto some ice. After a while, Raptor started to move it's legs a little. It's legs didn't turn back to it's normal colour till the evening.

So Shi Wei was pretty worried and asked me to post a topic about this. Is there anything he can do for Raptor? BTW, Raptors looking ok but he's not eating. He only ate one worm in 2 days.

I also forgot to mention that today, Shi Wei was playing with his cousin's gecko and Raptor. His cousin's gecko started to follow Raptor and suddenly bit Raptor's tail. Shi Wei put his finger into the other gecko's mouth and he let go of Raptors tail. There shouldn't be an problem as Raptor is a female and his cousin's gecko is a male.

Sound to me like Shi Wei should not be allowed to handle the geckos anymore! Direct exposure to the sun can cause sunstroke, not to mention burns. I'm not sure why your friend doesn't want to sign up as a member here of GeckoForums?

Sounds like he doesn't know they are nocturnal.
ie. Direct sun exposure is not common for geckos.
