My fiancé and I are deciding what name to use when we incorporate. My previous business name was Reef and Reptiles before the economy busted and I was forced to shut it down. We will be selling leo's and corals on a small scale. I may get into some custom setups with led lighting but that's more something for fun. We wanted to get opinions on our ideas.

I didn't vote for Reefs and Reptiles because there are already 2 businesses with this name that I am aware of.
As far as I can tell there is no Reef and Reptiles. There are plenty of variations but nothing like that. Most of them have folded anyway. I originally had the name back in 07' and was based in Florida so maybe you are remembering me. Either way, unless they have an enforceable trademark or are a registered business entity in Virginia I'm not too worried. Thanks for the heads up though.
I think we will go with Bohannon's because it will allow name recognition synergy with my law firm. Let's face it, fish and geckos keep me sane, criminal defendants pay the bills. The only reason I am going to incorporate is to limit my liability and I don't need to hire an attorney.
