Cage Cleaning

I was just curious to know how evry one cleans their cage. I change the paper towels every sunday, but every month i do an extensive clean using dish soap. I hear a lot of people use a bleach and water solution but im always afraid i might put in to much bleach and kill the gecko. So i have to questions, is my current method okay? and how do you clean yours?

I clean out the paper towel ever other day.
I also use a bleach solution. As long as you rinse well, you'll be fine.
