Measurements of some of my tanks:

10 gallon = 10x20"
20 gallon = 13x24" (17" tall)
20 gallon long = 13x30" (13" tall)

all my leos are individually housed in 20 gallon tanks

A little off topic but how many gallons is an 18x18"?

There's a formula for calculating gallons which I don't remember but you could probably find it with a little googling. You do need a third dimension to calculate: length, width and height.

I believe its Length times Width times Highth in inches divided by 231.

The tubs I use have a floor space of 9" by 14" I wouldn't go any smaller than that for adults.

Hope this helps:main_thumbsup:

I like to avoid giving people measurements in gallons, beacuse its really only the floor space that counts. A 30g long is better than a 30g tall... But in general a 10g tank is the minimum for ONE adult gecko. They make 15g tanks that I really like.
