ok so I have an adult male that has developed calcium bubbles behind his front legs. Not surprised and only dust his feeders occasionally now. Weird tho is one of my juvies has also developed calci bubbles behind her front legs. I have heard of adults doin it but juvies? Is this normal and should I only occasionally dust hers as well? She is approx 4 mnths old maybe 5. I noticed they had started but this morning they are much more prominent. Anything i can do for them to go away or are they permanent? My other two have none atm and am hoping they do not develope them. Are they not getting enough D3 or too much calci? I keep it in tank in a cover for each of them as well as in their food dishes. Any ideas?

So continue to keep the calcium in the feed dishes as well as a seperate cap with it or should I stop in the food dish as I have seen them lick the capful?

I don't plan to stop the calcium totally but since she is a juvie it just seemed odd for her to have them so young. I have seen it in adults not juvies b4. I think I will stop dusting and just leave it in her cage in the cap. She licks it often on her own and see if that helps decrease them. Thanks all

I just use a cap for them, and replace it when it looks empty.
