so I have heard that Fluker's is the only calcium supplement thats worth anything, however it's only for crickets... now my little guy is still too small to eat crickets and he refuses mealies with calcium powder on them. So my question is will mealies eat cricket food?

you are going to have to powder your feeders no matter what because they need both a calcium dusting and a multivitamin.mealies will generally eat on oats and veggies to "gut load" them. the best calcium i like is repcal and my multivitamin of choice is herptivite

but like I said my little boy refuses to eat when there is calcium powder on his food... so the only other option is to gut load the food with calcium

Calcium is very much necessary for the human body; a little part of calcium consumption should be there in order to keep your bones in a healthy condition. I believe the best suggestion for you is to take calcium supplements and mix it with food or any fruit juice, here he will not have get the taste of calcium but there will be consumption of calcium which is more important.
