calcium/vites? yes/no?

i cant seem to find info on supplimenting calcium/vites for my pueblan milk snake, all care sheets i have read didn't mention anything about needing this, however i figured i would double check if i need to or not. any advice would help. :main_thumbsup:

I've never used dietary supplementation on my colubrids, and I don't know of anyone who does. Unless there's a specific concern related to a health issue, I don't think it's necessary.

thats what i figured, nothing i read during my research said to, but i figured it would be best to ask anyway. thanks for the info

And to my knowlege, the only way to medicate a snake with anything that needs to be taken orally is with a food item. You can regulate the quality of prey items by raising your own. But I too have never suplemented the diet of my snakes, simply because I really never saw a need.

Just make sure your feeders are being fed a good diet. If you buy frozen make sure your buying from a good place.

i get the pinkies from a very reputable petshop in my area, so i am sure they give the feeders a good diet. these guys know their stuff, its a local one i just discovered it was recomended to me by a friend of mine at my work who also keeps quite a few herps.
