So only just today I realized I haven't been offering calcium powder in a dish. Today I put a little dish of it in both my gecko's enclosures and my female has her face dipped in it, licking it.

Can they get too much calcium or should I not be worried?

I'm really embarrassed that detail got overlooked, I have no idea how I missed it..

EDIT: I'm using Repti Calcium with D3.

EDIT2: Male has followed suit. They're like.. Shoveling it into their mouths.. :anxious:

LOL!!! I wouldnt worry.
They seem to know what they need and when they have had enough :D

I only use the calcium w/ D3 for dusting and calcium w/o D3 in the bowls.
I dont know if it matters or not, it's just what I was told!! :)

I switched to Repashy Calcium Plus.
It has everything, so I dust all my feeder insects with it. It even sticks to mealies! it's great stuff :main_yes:
They say when you use this stuff, you SHOULD NOT put a dish of calcium in their tank. The Calcium Plus is balanced, and any extra calcium would be very bad for your leo.
