Fortunately he is no longer a member of this forum, so we won't have to deal with him anymore. I feel sorry for any pets he has had or will in the future.
Probably time to put this thread out of its misery and not waste any more valuable time on the OP.

So what is the consensus on a calcium dish? If I dust my feeders every time do I still need one? Or is the dust on the buggies enough?

There should always be a dish of pure calcium in the tank just in case your gecko decides it needs more calcium :) About leaving calcium with D3 in the tank, I don't know much about that, though haha I just leave pure calcium

Personally what I do is i dust with calcium every other day,Once a week I dust with vitamins and once a month I do Calcium with D3.You can make up your own schedule of supplement.there is no hard and fast rule.

So many in this thread are quick to judge, I am the OP of this thread. Since having this leopard gecko.. I've had other reptiles and pets and they're still alive and very healthy and in fact the calcium was what he had to of passed away from because he was in the dish of it with his mouth overflowing with it. If you don't believe me that's fine I don't expect you to, nor do I care if you do! I have matured a lot since then and did you think to ask about the leopard gecko I was posting about in the thread? I had gotten his tail nice and fat, because when I bought him from a local pet-store, they sell them with their tails thiner than a piece of thread. Which means I kept him well fed. I think I did as best as I could for being a stupid teenager, I even paid my mother to take him to the vet! She didn't think it was worth the money, but I did. I have the paperwork to prove it. Anyway, I just wanted to set the facts straight because I love all animals, it was a tragic passing and he will always be remembered!
