cali king

Ok, so i'm getting a cali king soon (possibly tomorow), and i wanted to know if therse something i'm forgetting. he's still just about 16 inches long so he's got a ten gallon. i have;
1 ten gallon (he will be moving up :main_thumbsup: )
1 thermometer (picking anotherone up tomorow.)
1 water bowl
1 screen lid (secure)
1 heatpad
1 cave (cemented rocks found in the field.)
various furnishings. (branches Etc.)
and i'll be getting some aspen tomorow for a substrate. and i measured the hotspot and it's about 89 and the cool side is 77.

Make you sure you get something on top of the Lid, Kings and all Colubrids are great escape artists.

Maybe a thermostat to control that heat pad. Is it reading 89 degrees right on the glass above the pad? That's fine, but it will vary with the ambient temperature in the room.

yeah it reading that on the glass. and the lid is duct taped down.
