Came home to a nice pile of eggs yesterday. Our female #001 dropped six eggs good eggs. We had all the stuff to set up a quick and easy incubator, but hadn't set it up yet. We put it together in 5 minutes and it took a few hours to get to 86-87F, good enough to place the eggs in. Woke up this morning and the Helix is going steady at 89F as well as the back up thermostat confirms the temps.
I've never palpated for follicles before, but practiced on this female and on the few times I did palpate I felt what seemed to always be six. Our #002 female should drop in another 2-3 weeks and on that one we're also expecting six. Hope you all are having a great year....:main_thumbsup:
