Can Cresteds eat mealworms?

I heard that is not recomended that cresteds eat mealworms! but it just something that i heard at a friend petshop! What do you think about this?

I don't feed mine mealworms, large amounts can cause impaction.

I dont recommend it. because they are hard outer shell enough to make Them distress Petshop Employe are not smart you know that. Crested geckos should eat crickets or small amounts.

For what it's worth, mealworms are a great food source for geckos, contrary to what a lot of people have been led to believe. Geckos have an enzyme in their stomachs that breaks down chitin (the stuff the exoskeleton is made of), so there's no risk of impaction or anything like that.

I cannot get my cresteds to eat them, but my chewie will DEVOUR them.

But he'll devour ANY live feeder I give him.
Including supers.
