my cat has been harrassing this poor guy since he came home. Not my 2 beardies only the Gecko. I have sprayed him, beat him, put gates up, and no avail...its even up pretty high in my daughter's room...I dont want him to be hurt.

Today he finally made the screen top go!

My question is without a screen top can My Leo climb out?

look for him to be put up for sale, I cant keep the cat away from him and I fear the worst will happen soon

I would need to see a pic of your terrarium to be able to tell you if he could get out.
They are not very good climbers, but if there is something in there that he can use as leverage, he can get out.
Watch that cat!!!

You beat your lizards too?

Leopard geckos can't climb like say a Crested gecko, they usually dont do a whole lot of climbing other then the sleeve of your shirt as they skurry up to your shoulder. I dont imagine they climb much in the wild either. If your cat is the problem close the door.

most people say they can't climb vertical surfaces.. let me tell you the truth. If there is anything with texture lining the walls of the enclosure, he can get out. Mine can climb up a roll of paper towels, my shirt, a chair, my laundry basket, and anything other than glass or plastic.
