Can I ask for a some happy thoughts?

My grandmother told us not to bring any pumpkin bread over tomorrow (it's a tradition) because my grandfather was grumpy and didn't feel well. She said maybe we could do it after he recovers from his nose surgery at the end of the month. I hadn't heard anything about a problem until just now. Then she slipped and said something about the surgery being for a cancer spot they need to remove and then changed the subject. There's not a lot of communication in our family and they're always "fine" so I'll never know what's actually going on. I'd really appreciate if you guys would just think some happy thoughts for them or say some prayers for his surgery next Thursday.
