Dont blood-worms also bite, Im trying to remember back to my fishing days...last year in NC. I got my dad to bait these blood-worms because they could bite, and technically if you let them sit on you long enough they can burrow into your skin.
So I know this threads old/re-born but for future reference to anyone that reads this...DONT FEED YOUR LEO BLOODWORMS
They absolutely can and will bite. When you go fishing, if you are cutting the bloodworms into smaller pieces, you always cut the very sharp teeth off first.
I know I was proud when I was considered old enough to cut up bloodworms while fishing with dad!
