I suggest you get a heater and a few more cories... then you could get some giant danios or some black skirt tetras.

I think every tank needs a pleco, and/or a mystery snail.
If you want to see through the glass, without
putting in a lot of maintenance time.
Lots of different kinds of tetras to select from.
Take care. HJ

You could get away with danios or paradise fish without a heater assuming your house is at least 70 at all times. Your fish may not be as active or colorful. You would also want the tank to be in a place where there arent huge temperature fluctuations. Heaters help stabilize the temperature in your aquarium and without it, the fluctuations would stress the fish too much leading to illness and possibly death.
Danios are considered like "throw away" fish to many people since they are cheap, but they can also be pretty hardy as well.
Paradise fish are in the same family as gouramis and bettas. They are labyrinth fish, and also very hardy.
Rasboras are much too delicate to be housed without a heater.

I have an Albino cory cat. I've kept Danios for years and they are really hardy. Keep them in schools of at least 3 or 4.
