Can mealworms bite my gecko?

I figured somebody must have already asked this question, but I couldn't find anything by searching. My leo ate for the first time since I got him on Friday (he only ate two mealworms, but that's better than nothing right?), but two worms went into his hide. I'm worried that they may nibble on him if he doesn't eat them, but I don't want to put any unnecessary stress on him by removing his hide, what should I do? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm going to see if I can find one tomorrow. So do you think I should remove his hide to see if be ate them?

I don't think mealworms will attempt unless your leo just doesn't move for like a week straight or your mealworm is just an alpha-beast-carnivore mealie. But yah they don't seem to bother them much my female was just laying on top of one for about an hour before she realized and I think one is still lost in the moist hide.

Yeah, maybe I'll just leave them and hope that she eats them. I don't like leaving feeders loose in the tank but I'm more worried about stressing him out by moving his furniture around too much.

I use a peanut butter top for my mealies. It is just high enough that they can't get out and low enough for the gecko to see in easily.

I've never thought of using a peanut butter top, I've got a bottle of peanut butter that's half empty (or half full depending on if you're an optimist or a pessimist), I guess I'll be eating PB & J for the next couple of days!
