well my leo basically hasn't eaten for around a month i went to the vets last week i was given some baytril and she had some shots now the confusing thing is she still ways 50 grams and doesn't look in bad shape at all now the vet told me to give her some crushed up food just to get things moving again but for some strange reason she still wont even look at food my temps are fine and the humidity is fine. now the vet said that i should return in a week and get an x-ray done to see if there's anything stuck in there like a large cricket but she has been passing a motion from the crushed food and the x-ray is pretty hard on my wallet and i don't want all that done to find out there's nothing stuck so has anybody out there got and info that would come useful to me please :D

Could she be ovulating? It is breeding season and females tend to go off food sometimes.

Might try soaking her in warm water for like 10-15 minutes. Maybe do this everyday for a few days to see if it helps loosen up anything.

I dont think a large cricket could get stuck unless she was unable to digest. Has a fecal sample been tested?
What kind of substrate are you using?

I wouldnt have brought her to the vet just because she hasnt eaten anything. If she looks relatively healthy , obviously shes on a hunger strike.Go throuhg the checklist.Check temps on warm end they need to be 90-95 degrees.u mentioned humidity, they should only have a moist hide on one end.Are u using a bright lite on her.Did u change anything in her enclosure.is she being bullied by another leo.The vet is giving her meds just because she hasnt eaten for 4 weeks??.IMO he's jumping the gun.
