Since when im going to get my gecko i plan to to put it in a 10 gallon tank after, a while im going to buy a 38 gallon tank for him/her. My question is can it be too much space for just 1 gecko? ( i know someone that can give me a 38 gallon for cheap so money wont be a problem)

That should be a good size.

However I know if you get to big, it can be hard for them to catch food, but your tank size sounds good to me!

No that sounds fine I agree with Halley though. That if you get too big that they will have trouble catching their food. Although you could just eliminate that problem by either feeding them in a small container or just using a tank divider.

I would imagine a dish full of mealies would solve the hunting down the food problem. If you count the number that goes in & find he's not eating them, then you know for sure he needs a gps! ;)
