Can three Leopard Gecko fit in a Exo Terra 18x18x24?

I allready have two adults females in a Exo Terra 18x18x24 and I was wondering if it would be safe to put a male in there with them. I know that it's usually a gecko per 10 Gal but since this terrarium is square I really don't know. I accessorised it to be very space efficient. It has a magneted floating rock, a climable 3D foam background and finally I have a big "cave" and put a smaller one on top to have the more floor space.
Thx

Here are some numbers to help you make a decision:
--a 10 gallon tank is 120 sq. inches and usually holds 1 gecko
--a 20 gallon long tank (12x30) is 360 sq. inches and usually holds 2, possibly 3 leos
--I keep 3-4 leos in a 20 gallon long with a heated 12x12 "upstairs" for a total of 504 sq. inches
--your 18x18 exo-terra is 324 sq. in
it was hard to figure out from your description if you actually have another level in there. You could easily accommodate one because the tank is so tall. Adding a 12x12 upstairs would bring your square footage to 448 sq. inches

Your heated upstair, is it an accessory or something you made? If it's an accessory what's the brand? There's a picture of my terrarium. View attachment 22237

I made it. Here's what you need:

4 stable "legs" which need to be some kind of cylindar (e.g. dowels, maybe with "feet" so they aren't too wobbly); probably less than 6" high is best

2 ceramic tiles the size you want your "upstairs" to be

4 small tiles (like 1" on a side) to use as spacers

1 mini heater (1-5 gallons)

Set up the legs. place the 2 large tiles on top and sandwich the mini UTH in between them. Use the spacers at the corners so there's room to vent the heat from the UTH. I have found this to be pretty stable without needing to glue things together and it comes apart easily for cleaning

Either some kind of ramp or a hide or lay box on the floor of the tank provides a way for them to get upstairs.

Someone on here a few years ago had a lovely 3-level tank she set up in an exo-terra but the pictures have probably expired by now.

Other people have made upstairs levels out of different materials. Try the search function.

IMO that terrarium isn't suitable for multiple leo's. (Or ANY leo's if you plan to use bark. Bark is a no no because a) Holds too much moisture. b) It's loose and risks impaction.) Switch to slate tile, papertowel, repti carpet... As for size You want floor space/length, not height. I wouldn't put more than 2 leo's in there.

Yeah I heard about the impaction risk with that. It was the pet store guy who make me bought that since I'm new with geckos "the idiot". That's why I feed them in a seperate 10Gal with papertowel. And for the humidity I have a meter and it's always around 50%. I have a "wet room" that I keep damp every day. But thanks for the warning tho.

Oh good to know you read up and are taking precautions... just be aware that bark also holds bacteria pretty well.
