Can you guys explain in depth how you pair your leos?

anything else i need to know
(all my leos are housed individually and have 28qt sterilite tubs, and will only be breeding 1 female of the 2 i have this season)

I keep all my leos individually and this is how I go about pairing:

Step One: Check for ovulation.
Step Two: Introduce the female to the male's tub. Watch them for a bit to be sure she's not going to rip his head off(some minor nipping is normal and ok) and if they seem to be ok, leave them together. If not, I remove her and try again in a week.
Step Three: Leave the pair together for 36-72 hours. This is usually enough time to ensure a successful mating if they are going to. After this time I remove the female and put her back into her tub with a lay box available.
Step Four: Repeat step one through three every three weeks after the original pairing for the remainder of the season to ensure fertility. Obviously if the female is visibly gravid, I wait until eggs have been dropped to reintroduce. If she is losing an excessive amount of weight, I discontinue all future pairings for the season.

one more thing, should i toss a extra hide in there when i pair them because all i have in the male's tank is 1 reg hide(warm side) and 1 humid hide(cold side)

You could. I dont, since the visit is short term, but it wouldnt hurt.
