This is probably a really dumb noob question. I am considering geting a leo and i have been lurking here for a few months!

I have NEVER fed any sort of insects before/never owned a reptile before.

My question:How often will I have to go out and buy insects? If I plan on feeding mealworms, i will go out and buy a little tub of mealies, and I have one leo how long will that tub last?
A week? two weeks? Can i refrigerate them?

Im concerned im gonna be going out every 3 days and buying bugs for this guy...breeding my own is NOT an option.

it would be 10 times cheaper if you order online as you can store most/all in the fridge for a few months.

id rather not order online..id only be feeding one gecko so it would not be cost effective to pay shipping.

shipping is cheap and its probably cheaper to ship them then driving to the pet store and wasting gas...

you can refrigate them but i dont know how long they will last it depends on how much your gecko eats and they wont die off in a few days either

Mealies can last up to a month in the fridge or longer depending upon what developmental stage they're in, just take them out once or twice a week and feed them peeled orange slices to rehydrate them. You can buy 1000 mealies for about $14 shipped, it's well worth the cost, especially since pet stores generally charge you three times that much.
