I was shown that if you mist really young ones with water a male will squeel and jump around and a female will just rare up like she is mad but not go off like a male. The only thing is I don't know if it acurete as I don't know what they were sexed at as adults but did see a litter that had 6 babys and 4 went nuts when misted and 2 didn't so it may be true

You cannot tell by misting them....each gecko has its own different personality. Some or more jumpy than others and tend to squeak and others dont. That has nothing to do with gender.

Just wait until they get around 20 grams and it will be easier to tell what sex your gecko is then.

Yeah I have heard the misting thing too as I have heard that you can tell male from females cause the male will poop all over the cage and the females will only poop in one area. Sorry but neither of those would I put any faith into. If you do not know what temp they were cooked at then just wait until about 20 grams.....maybe a little sooner with a little experience.

that sounds easy enough, how exactly do you weigh the leopardgeckos just put them on a normal scale?

ok, for their care do you really have to weigh them everyone once and awhile?
or is it mostly for breeding?

I weigh them for health reasons. It is good to keep tabs on their weight because weight loss can be a sign of sickness. I weigh my sick rescue gecko once a week to make sure she isnt getting worse

You can usually tell the sex of a gecko at around 15g. It's always good to have a scale around to monitor their weight. When you see them everyday it can be hard to notice if they're losing weight but scales always give an accurate view.
