Can you use UTH in 10 gallon with PT for the Bottom?

I would like to know if i buy a 10 gallon UTH can i use Paper Towel for a botton or will it get to hot for the little Juvie im getting???:main_yes:
P.S. Do i need a mesh top for it or can i leave it with out a top?

You can use anytype UTh as long as you use a thermostat, you need a thermostat (or a dimmer) no matter what substrate you use.

I leave the mesh top off on the 10 gallons as long as everyting is of normal heihgt, you wouldn't want to haev a climbing area high enough that they could climb out.

ok how do i measure the temp with a dimmer. I dont have a heat gun yet. And what temp does the UTH have to be set to 92 ?. Also will a dimmer control 2 other ones one for a 2o gallon and one for a 55 gallon. I dont have them 2 on dimmer and they work just fine breeding and all? So what do you guys think?

That sounds fine, UTH are best for heating leos .
