Candling

HI.. I have 4 eggs right now. I have candled them this morning and I saw the bullseye form in them all except one. I saw pink in it but it was on the bottom of the egg. Is this ok or is it dead? The egg is dented in on the top and feels soft. I am going to leave it in there until the end just in case.. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and what to expect. Thanks

I have the same problem with an egg!
It was only 1 in clutch and it has been laid more then a month ago. Still no changes, so I don't know what will happen...

Sounds like the egg was turned and may not develop but Id incubate it anyway becuase you never know. A for sure infertiel will glow yellow with no pink at all so hold on to it and see what happens.

The egg was in dry perlite for a few days maybe, after it was laid. I had no idea that the female is going to lay it, so I found it accidentally. It looked calcinated , but I moisted it directly and took away from the terrarium. It has been about 2 month ago, the egg is a little soft now and, as I told before - the pink area can be seen at the bottom and the other sides are yellow. The top of the egg was marked,so I could not turn it upside down. Don't know what to do...:((

let it incubate until it hatches or starts to mold. It does sound bad and 60 days is a very long time unless you are using 82 or lower.

I was using 25-30 (Celsius).
So if the egg is dead it will start to mold, or maybe there are other signs of it?

if the egg was in the dry perlite for a few days, the leo may have turned it going in and out of the lay box. If you wet the egg directly it probably drowned the embryo.

Let it sit a little longer but if the pink is on the bottom and the sides are still yellow and the pick portion is not getting larger the egg is not/has not developed properly.

It may mold after a while, but Ive had infertiles even go 90 days without molding, I just didn't have the heart to throw them out even though I knew they were hopeless.

So when can I actually see that the egg is hopeless? Now, candling is showing no pink area on top, but it shows something very similar to capillaries - I can see the red threads (not the bunch of them - just singles).

Could someone maybe explain whats meant by the 'bullseye' seen in the egg. Is it a way to tell if theres something in there? and what does it look like (maybe pics?) thank you very much
