I've heard mealworms and the beetles will eat the pupae, so it's best to separate them. We've been doing this. However, some breeders just leave the entire colony in boxes. What are your opinions on it? I've heard if you keep plenty of carrots or other moisture in there, their isn't much of a problem.
What do you all think?
Up until now, we haven't minded doing it, but now our breeding project is getting so large that it's extremely time consuming to go through and find all the pupae.
