All these great pics make me want to cry. We have a canon power shot a510, 3.2 mega pixels. Does anyone have one of these or similar that could tell me the best setting for some good pics would be? I usually do the macro, but it's hard sometimes to get a super clear pic, and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong, or if it's just not possible to get a super clear pic of a leo with this camera.

I take leo pics with our PowerShot sometimes. The macro function doesn't work well with moving objects (ie. Leopard geckos, lol) so I usually don't use it. The flash is usually too strong so I set the dial on top to P then use the Func. Set button and scroll down to the flash +/- and lower the flash power. I try to take pics near the window with natural sunlight and use the flash to fill in the shadows. Since it's shady (inside the house) it sometimes helps to change the white balance to the cloud setting. Hope that helps! My other strategy is puch all of the buttons until the pictures get better!

Sorry I put that in the wrong sec. I'm going to try that. I took some ok ones yesterday and was surprised how well they came out. I've done the try every button thing too :)
