CARE!

I care for my crested the best. I literally spoon fed my crested tonight. I gave him a dish of food, He didn't eat it so I used the tiny spoon that had some left on it and scooped the food and waited for him to lick the spoon repeated and he also ate 3 crickets...

Just kinda funny, does anyone else have this problem with their crested eating. Mine will only eat if I hold the dish in his face. But crickets he will jump across his tank to get them.

I hope you're talking about spoon feeding CGD? People seem to think their geckos aren't eating but a lot of the time young cresteds don't eat enough that you'll notice. Try slowing down with the insects if he's really not eating his CGD.

My first hatchlings I made the mistake of spoon feeding CGD. It took them a painfully long time to learn how to eat on their own. Don't try it.

Most of my little ones I never even notice they are eating except I can see them gaining grams when I wiegh them. :)

Really you think you are giving great care, the problem is now your gecko will become more and more dependent on you constantly doing it for them. Yes we all want and strive for great care but to baby them in such a fashion is depriving them of a natural instint to search out for food.
