I really don't know but Bret's female "Daytona" developed her CT later in her juvie stage I think. I would guess the CT still comes in until the gecko is about 5 or 6 months old?
Ooh, that's a tough one. In our experience it seems to vary. Some have just a touch of orange at hatching and end up with 50% or more. Some have distinct orange tail bands at 15 grams that you'd swear will connect but never do. If I had to pick a size I'd say about 50 grams, then after breeding it decreases.
From what i have seen from my experiance, the CT stops around 6 months of age. But every gecko is Different. Alot of mine stop around 6 months of age at around 60 grams. Some show none at all as hatchling or sometimes a little hint of orange at the base.
You can get a good idea in a few months, but to know for sure how they will turn out, they need to be 6 to even 8 months old, or more.
Tremper Albino "Carrottails" really seem to take a long time to stop getting more color(on the body too), and most will look their best at around a year old.
