Hi,

Just a question, if you were given a choice to buying geckos using cash or credit cards, which method would you choose?

Or you would prefer both methods.

Thanks

I choose Cash at shows and paypal on the internet. Ultimately the cold hard dollar wins over plastic. Credit i something that not everyone should have but do and abuse it. I know that first hand.

I would really like it if they abuse their credit cards to buy my soon to hatch baby geckos though LOL!

i would use my debit card which isnt a credit card but used same way. because if with cash you get a reciept you might lose it and if you need it down the road or anything. and with a credit card/debit card you can just get it from the company or bank down the road. but i would do pay paly only on net. never know whos on other end

If I used our credit cards for geckos on reptiles, I'd be in TROUBLE. I know I'd have an enigma by now if I did that, lol. I only buy what I have cash for. That saves me alot of trouble.

We've used a credit card to buy leos before, but only from the most trusted people in the business. I really prefer using cash for everything, because it's a lot easier to know when you're broke, haha. Even if I'm buying a leo online, I prefer to send a money order. It takes longer, but I think cash is more firm.

I'm glad this thread popped up because I was wondering this myself. I use cash/paypal to buy reptiles.

Cash is always best, but I usually use PayPal when buying online.
Same goes with me. Whenever buying animals from outside the country is concerned, I would prefer to use TT/remittance i.e. I would have the full details of the seller.

I'm kind of conservative LOL!

I was just wondering whether if would be easier for a seller to have a payment gateway in his website. That way, buyers may place orders and purchase through the net and have the animals sent to him on a certain date rather than have to drive a certain mileage to meet one another.
