do your roaches lay their egg cases in that dish? Or do you put them in there? Very cool pics btw!

No, the females in my colony lay them were ever in their tub. I was just sifting through a hatchling tub and getting out all the old dry egg cases and the eggs that hadn't hatched and throwing them in a new tub the cup with coco fiber is in that tub for adding a little humidity for the eggs some land in it some don't.

Well thanks everyone, I think , I honestly didn't even think to consider it would gross any one here out.
It was good timing.

I have probably got thousands of these guys know and have had them hatching out for weeks and had not seen them hatch nor did I expect to see it. I guess with dozens of egg cases being laid every day dozens would be hatching round the clock.

I just moved all the unhatched eggs to a new tub and 2 days later have 2 to 3 hundred pinheads running around the tub.
