Ceramic tile..."table"? Thoughts?

About to get my first leo soon. I have an 18x18x18 exo terra and I do not think it'll be big enough. I heard of people creating "tables" to add a 2nd level as well as another hide to the cage so I want to do this for my new gecko. I tried using insulation boards but it was a bust since it kept falling apart on me and trying to paint it was a PAIN~!

I scraped that material and now I'm thinking about buying an 12x8 or a 12x12 ceramic tile and using it as the platform for the table instead. The ramp is no problem since I have some stacking rocks left over to do the job but have no idea what to use as the "legs" to support the ceramic tile.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Criticisms?

Whatever you may choose to use, aim for a material that can be easily cleaned (impervious surfaces, where water beads are a good start) and make sure you secure it well, so that there's zero risk of anything falling over and injuring the animal. After that it's mostly a matter of aesthetics and design choices.

What are you using as the legs??

I made those legs out of ceramics by wrapping a slab around some dowels. For later platforms I used 1" wood dowels and then got some small PVC pieces to use as "feet" so the dowels aren't too wobbly. I have found that putting the 12" square tile sandwich (there's a mini UTH in between the tile pieces) lends stability and the structure stays up.

Just got back from Home depot and AC Moore. I got a 12x12 ceramic tile and 8 of these 1.5 inch mini clay flowur pots as the legs. Here's a picture of the setup all together and a picture of what's under the ceramic tile. You might not be able to see but I took leftover stacking rocks and create a ramp in the bottom left corner of the picture.
