I actually found some CGD for Leopard Geckos today and i didnt even know it existed. Its made by Zoo***, made up of flies exclusively bred and fed in a controlled laboratory environment including a "natural blend of flavouring agents".

An all in one diet eliminating the need for insects, like i did for my cresties, sounds great!! All i had to do was mist the dried flies with water to release their enticing aroma and my Leo would be in there like a fly to S***, except one thing. Leo wasnt interested at all. Smelled it, kinda licked it and then turned awat. Leo turned his nose up more times then i can count on my fingers. I tried over two days without luck, he basically ran away from the food.

When i brought out his usual, he was like a kid in a candy store, bright eyed and all.

So i dont know about you, but im sticking with his gutloaded superworms, mealworms, and the occasional pinky---like maybe for xmas if he's good:D

Leopard geckos, 99 times out of 100 will only go after a feeder that is moving. They have a prey drive, and hunting their food is part of that. Basically, if it's not moving, they could care less!

well he expressed interest when i put it in a plastic spoon and moved it around his tank. Until he smelled it, then licked it, then he turned his nose up. Cost me $5, worth a try. Oh well i ll leave the CGD to my cresties, as far as i can tell they enjoy it, at least their tongue marks would suggest that.

Leopard geckos are insectivores so it's not natural for them the eat non-living food. Most won't eat the canned foods marketed towards Leopard Geckos.
