I recently got a gecko from a breeder that only feeds cricket's its been a while and though I have offered mealworms, dubia they do not seem interested at all in the mealworms and only visually to dubia once they lick them they lose interest.

Can anyone give some tips on helping with the transition or do I have to now raise meaqlworms, dubia, and now crickets or will they eventually eat once they get hungry enough ?I really do not want to raise crickets. I heard they smell.

i think they will eat whatever you give them once they get hungry enough. another thing you can try is squishing cricket guts onto the mealworms/dubia. that way it will smell like the crickets.

once the gecko knows that mealsworms/dubia are food it will eat them.

also, you try rubbing the mealworm on the geckos lips.

good luck.
