So even though Enigma is a dominant trait it'll only show up half the time?
That is correct for this mating. "Dominant" has nothing to do with the identity of the genes in a gene pair.

All the babies would be enigmas only if one parent has two enigma mutant genes in the gene pair. But nobody has produced enigmas with two enigma genes, as far as I know. The enigma, etc., parent has a gene pair made up of an enigma mutant gene and a normal gene. Half the babies get the enigma gene, and the other half of the babies get the normal gene. As the other parent can only give the babies a normal gene, the babies with two normal genes are normal in regard to the enigma trait.
