We all know there are some smells our leos don't like - a perfume, hand soap, food, etc. that they'll have nothing to do with if it's too strong on you. For mine it's lotion and oranges.

I seem to have found something my leo really likes, though. :main_laugh: I was making little chocolate lava cakes - you know, the souffle-things with the goo in the middle.
I hadn't washed the batter off my hands too thoroughly as I was still in the middle of baking them, just a rinse with cold water to get the stain-y bits off before I got close to the carpet, but the gecko was out on top of his hide and staring at me so I put put a hand down into his cage to see if he wanted out.

Normally he'll put his face close to my hand, give it a lick or two to see what I am, and then either climb up or turn away from me.

This time he shoved his little nose against my fingers and just slid up and down them looking really, really interested and licking at them. It felt more like he was tasting my hand than just "sniffing" it, and he had that look on his face like when he's trying to decide whether an unfamiliar prey item is worth grabbing at or not - I decided I'd better leave him be until I'd washed my hands.

I doubt it was actually the chocolate, but maybe the butter? Most animals like butter.
Have you found any scents your leo thinks make you look tasty?

I'm not sure what it could have been the scent of but one of my females and my big male Dante have done this before. Its funny but I did wonder for a second both times if I was about to be bit XD Both are pretty big geckos and a bite from either wouldn't feel very good.
