I was wondering if any one had any info about chuckwalla's that they could tell me.

some of them live on a butte right by my house. i see them basking in the morning when i jog. right now its winter and i never see them, i assume they are hibernating.

I know Deer Fern Farms has a colony of them... but they aren't cheap.

I was just wondering the basic care and about what the cots would be to get one including the food tank chuckwalla its self and other stuff

IMO Chuckwallas are best seen in the wild. I have had a few and they did not seem to do well unless they had a LARGE enclosure (preferably outdoors) with limited people contact. The best looking ones I have seen are the South Mountain Chukwallas in Arizona.
